Made from love for a feeling.
I've always been a fan of sports. Playing them, watching them. It's been one of the biggest pleasures of my life for as long as I can remember.
In 2021, I was studying in the US and it was time to find a job. The market was tougher than ever. My family had invested a lot in my education, and the thought of returning home and disappointing them, and my friends, gave me a kind of stress that would make my mind spiral. The kind you can't think your way out of.
That's when I started working out at 6am every single day. Religiously.
And something shifted. The gym didn't fix the job market or quiet every doubt, but it made my day better. Every day. It gave me the strength to handle whatever came next. That's when I realized, for the first time, what working out and playing sports actually does for us. It makes us feel aok.
When I came back to India to start my own venture, I hit the same wall. I couldn't figure out what to do next, and the spiral came back. The weight of expectations, the noise in my head. So I went back to the roots. I started running.
And there it was again. That feeling. My aok.
I knew then it was something I wanted to share with people who understand it. Who have felt it. Who are still looking for it.
So we built AOK.
